The Winchester location isn't just home to the portrait bots but is the VERY FIRST Chuck E. Cheese ever made. Lets start at May 17th, 1977. The first Pizza time theatre opens and it was packed. According to Nolan himself in Great Big Story, "the place wasn't big enough" and it wasn't! According to Michael D (someone who has been to the Winchester location) 'it wasn't that big but it sure was crowded, kids everywhere'. with the portrait stages and arcade rooms, it was a hit. but as I have stated before; it was small. even though it had many rooms, There were people even waiting outside. Looking at the pictures it looks wide and is a rectangular building. and the show room did not have the custom carpet but instead Laminate brick flooring.Also according to Michael about the food, "the pizza? it was average at best and it wasn't very plush, like Costco. It was like a more like slightly better little Cesar's". The bots were also described as stilted. for more details on those go on the "PORTRAIT BOTS" section. Anyways, The Winchester location was just very basic in some elements but still successful. It wasn't until 1985 where it closed. And the only a few bots were saved while many other things were either stored away or destroyed. This may be updated through the weeks but until then, this is all we got. 370 South Winchester Boulevard is the address. It was Demolished in 2002 with the google maps photo coming from 2001. It was then rebuilt a year later and was then Demolished again in 2018. The new construction can be seen here:

Sadly. for how historic the store is the location barley gets the recognition it deserves. Mostly being over shadowed by the famous 3 story location over on Tully Road. Gaining the "The first store". Even Though the Tully Rd. location opened in 1981.
